Polyurea defined
A pure polyurea coating/ lining is derived from the reaction product of a polyisocyanate component and an amine-terminated resin blend.
From the PDA Definition:
- 1) Two-part system
- 2) One part is and isocyanate component
- 3) Reactive isocyanate groups (-NCO)
- 4) Other part is an amine blend component
- 5) Reactive group is amine (primary or secondary)
- 6) (-NH2 or -NH-) Reaction of the 2 components yields a urea linkage
